| The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic clock face, maintained since 1947 by the board of directors of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists at the University of Chicago. The closer the clock is to midnight, the closer the world is estimated to be to global disaster, since its creation, the time on the clock has changed 19 times, from the Cold War to the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War to the War on Terror, from rouge nations trying to obtain WMD’s to countries like North Korea testing nuclear weapons the clock ticks and shows the world just how close we are to a global disaster. The EWA has its own Doomsday Clock, the estimated time to its own global disaster, an unthinkable occurrence, the EWA world is forces to sit and watch as they come to the brink of disaster and the lone man, the lone hope for the EWA is Mike King, EWA, it’s 7 Minutes to Midnight, Doomsday is approaching.
FADE IN
7 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
The yellow 18 bus pulls to a stop on the corner of Miller and 34thStreet, the doors swing open and a handful of kids jump off the bus, the first day back to school. The kids begin to run in different directions but two boys, about 11 years old stick together and begin to walk down Miller Street.
Brian: Did you see the show last night?
Chris: No, my parents made us go to bed early, school and all.
Brian: Oh man, you missed it, it was crazy, I DVR’ed it, come on, you have to see the end of the show.
The two run up the street and up the walkway of a little blue house with a white fence, the two boys drop their book bags at the door and jump in front of the TV. Brian grabs the remote and turns on the TV and hit the guide and clicks on Edmonton Wrestling: Dishonor, he fast forwards through the show, the Titan v. Abraham Walsh match, the Charlie v. Rex Turner Street Fight and the crowning of the new tag team champions The Masters of Disasters. He continues to fast forward the video package of the history of Kevin Dunn and Xavier Reid and the introductions, but it seems like both men got a huge ovation. Xavier Reid first and then the Edmonton Wrestling Canadian Champion Kevin Dunn, the action was back and forth, in and out of the ring. Both men were busted open, Xavier from a chair shot to the face and Kevin Dunn from being rammed with the metal steps. The action goes into the ring and is back and forth and then Xavier hits the Brain Buster Suplex, he heads up to the top rope.
Brian: Here it is, watch this.
Brian hits the play button as Xavier stands on the tope rope, the TV commentary cuts in.
Stephen St. James: Xavier is ready and YES, X-MARKS THE SPOT!!!!!
Ty DeFranco: IT’S OVER!!!
The referee drops and counts….1……2…..3!!!! The crowd goes nuts and Xavier rolls off Dunn and backs into the corner. The referee grabs the Edmonton Wrestling Canadian Championship and walks towards Xavier who is yelling for a microphone.
Ring Announcer: The winner of this match AND NEW EDMONTON
Xavier Reid: NO, NO HOLD UP RIGHT THERE, SHUT THE HELL UP!!!
The ring announcer stops talking and just looks at Xavier who is up to his feet and grabs the Canadian Title from the referee.
Xavier Reid: Don’t make that announcement, because I am not the NEW Canadian Champion, and it pains me to say that. I grew up here, in this town, I us to be just like all of you out there, I would come to the shows with my dad and dream of the day I would hold his title and here I am with this belt in my hand but it’s not mine. I had this match made a non title match right before I came out here because I cannot be your champion, tonight was a onetime deal and it pains me because I know that you people love this sport as much as I do and YOU people deserve a great champion. You see in a perfect world I could just perform for you deserving fans but that’s just not how the business works anymore, because we all know the greatest most educated wrestling fans are here in Canada but our talent has been purged. There was a time where Edmonton Wrestling was the king, we had the best talent in the world and we knew it, but sadly so did the companies in the US, they knew they could pay more so slowly over time they took, STOLE FROM YOU PEOPLE, and left this place as the training grounds for the future stars of THEIR company, guys like Kevin Dunn, a FUCKING STAR but they are too damn blind to see it, someone who you all can be proud to call The Canadian Champion!!!
Xavier hands the Canadian Title back to Dunn and raises his arm to cheers from the local crowd.
Xavier Reid: Now if I had it my way I would never leave but that’s not an option, I have to make a living and to do that I have to sell out and take my talents to the states, to EWA. I had to leave the independent scene and go to a major player, it’s been too long and I’m far too talented to be wasting my talents in High School gyms or promotions that have become irrelevant like Mexican Championship Wrestling. These companies don’t deserve Xavier Reid, I wasted away there and for what, stupid ignorant wrestling fans who wouldn’t know good wrestling if it bit them in the ass, see Mike King, they think he’s a god, when everyone here knows he’s a fraud, that’s because Canadian wrestling fans are smart. He’s a guy they have built up to be a star because the majority of wrestling fans are stupid and will except what they are being told. You get a few fat little losers behind a keyboard posting in forums that he’s incredible and like sheep the rest will repeat this nonsense like its fact. These sheep are easily impressed, just look at Mike King, WHAT THE HELL HAS HE DONE? HOW THE HELL CAN HE BE CONSIDERED IN MY LEAGUE!!!
The Canadian Crowd breaks out into a ‘MIKE KING SUCKS’ ‘MIKE KING SUCKS’ chant.
Xavier Reid: But he is given a job and chance after chance while someone like Kevin Dunn is kept on the outside, what, it there a quota of Canadian wrestlers allowed in the major promotions? Are we being discriminated against, this man has more talent in his right big toe than Mike King but he is given chance after chance and why, because he once was a good wrestler in the CZW? Or because they can farm his sorry ass out to these B level promotions like MCW and act like they are doing the wrestling world a favor by sharing their talent? It makes me sick that I’m put in the same category with men like Mike King and that I’m forced to prove that I’m better than him, are you kidding me? I have been a champion in that company, won the Underground Title twice, on my first night, what the hell has he done in the months he’s been there besides fall further down the ladder and rack up lose after lose yet he somehow finds himself in a title match at Rising from the Flames, yeah that’s fair. The people involved in the EWA better pray to whatever god they pray to that I win that match and become the first ever EWA Gladiator Champion, because that title in the hands of Mike King would discredit it, it would be about as bad as the International Title, oops, I mean Outlaw Title in the hands of Buck Evans. The EWA needs champions they can promote not stiffs that soil those titles they hold so dear. They want to freshen up EWA, take it in a new direction, but wrestling ahead of brawling and that’s all fine with me but this street fight, well its right up my alley, has Mike King not seen what I have done since day 1 in the EWA? Has he not seen the path of destruction I have left in my wake? Yet he challenges me to a street fight, what does he think just because he roped the fat man into making this match in Mexico City I will be at a disadvantage? Does he think all his spiks are all going to revolt and jump the rail and help him beat me down? Doesn’t Mike King know that anyone with that much athletic talent has already jumped the fence and is living in the US illegally already? He is counting on a nation to have his back and that’s exactly what he’s going to need to beat me, whether it’s in Mexico City, New York, London or here in Edmonton one thing is for certain, I AM BETTER THAT MIKE FUCKING KING!!!! YOU KNOW IT, I KNOW IT AND HE KNOWS IT!!!! SO YOU GOT YOUR LITTLE WISH, I WILL GO BACK AND GIVE THOSE SPIKS ONE MORE MATCH, THE MATCH YOU WANTED ME TO GIVE THEM AND I WILL LEAVE YOUR BLOODY CARCASS AS A REMINDER TO THEM ALL THAT FOR YET A SHORT TIME AND FOR THE ONLY TIME IN THEIR SAD EXISTENCE THEY WERE IN THE PRESENTS OF GREATNESS!!!!
Xavier tosses the microphone to the ground and walks over to Kevin Dunn and raises his arm into the air as the Edmonton fans get to their feet and give the two a standing ovation.
Chris: Oh man, what I wouldn’t give to see that match.
Brian: Come over, I’m getting it.
Chris: I didn’t think Rising from the Flames was a pay per view?
Brian: It’s not, but Across the Border is, I want to see Xavier kill Mike King.
Chris: I’m in!!!
6 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
The scene cuts to Relampago, the weekly live broadcast of Mexican Championship Wrestling TV show, Alfonso Vargas and Jose Martinez sit ringside as they come back live.
Alfonso Vargas: Last Tuesday night in New York at EWA’s Shatter Point the wrestling world was turned outside down when the acting General Manager of this very own company, Mexican Championship Wrestling, Miguel Chavez walked out onto their show to confront the coward Xavier Reid.
Jose Martinez: Even more than that, him and the General Manager of the EWA, Frankie Manning announced a blockbuster deal that will impact both the MCW and the EWA.
Alfonso Vargas: We have been allowed through the partnership between our two companies to show out fans what exactly took place at Shatter Point.
-The fans just boo heavily as Xavier signs the contract and tosses it back at Manning’s chest and hit the mat. Xavier raises his arms in the air victorious. Manning looks at Xavier and then bends over and picks up the contract, when he raises up he has an evil smile on his face, Xavier turns and sees this and slowly drops his arms and looks at Manning.-
Xavier Reid: What the hell are you so hammy about fat man?
Frankie Manning: Oh, I’m just a happy GM, I just signed you Xavier and to a long term deal and after August 30th, 2011 you sir will be a full time member of the EWA!
William Masters: Did he just say AFTER August 30th?
Xavier Reid: No, no, no, that contract start right now Manning!
Frankie Manning: I wish it would Xavier, but you see I can’t sign you, well not yet, you see like I said I have been meeting with my lawyers all day today and we looked over things and then we got a phone call, it seems you were not as clear and free as you thought Xavier, it turns out you still had ONE MORE MATCH ON A CONTRACT YOU SIGNED!!!
-The fans begin to cheer and Xavier’s jaw drops.-
Frankie Manning: My lawyers were faxed the contract and are hands are tied, so we added an amendment to the contract you just signed, see, you are already contractually obligated to wrestle Mike King for the EWA Gladiator Championship on August 30th, but I was informed on that same night there will be an event called Across the Border and after talking to my lawyers we have come to an agreement with this company that has your rights for one more match.
Xavier Reid: NO, FUCK YOU MANNING, NO!!!!
-‘Little Crazy’ hits and the fans jump to their feet as Mike King walks out onto stage and looks back at the curtain, a well dress Mexican man walks out onto the stage to a huge cheer.-
Tim Timmons: THAT’S MIGUEL CHAVEZ!!!! GM OF MEXICAN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING!!!
William Masters: What the hell is he doing here?
-Xavier looks stunned as Miguel and Mike King make their way down to the ring. Manning is clapping as he holds open the ropes for Miguel who steps in the ring and shakes hands with Manning. Mike King steps in after Chavez and locks eyes with Xavier Reid.-
Xavier Reid: NO, FUCK YOU ALL, I DON’T GIVE A…
Frankie Manning: Oh, Xavier, you just don’t get it, you signed a contract with this man, and just a few seconds ago, you signed a contract with me, YOU WILL DO EXACTLY WHAT WE TELL YOU OR YOU CAN GO HOME AND SIT ON YOUR ASS AND BE OUT OF THE BUSINESS!!!!
Tim Timmons: Oh snap!
Frankie Manning: You owe this man and his company one for match and we came to an understanding.
Miguel Chavez: You see chico, you walked out on my fans who paid well earned money to see you get your ass kicked. For weeks you ran that little mouth of your and they took it because they knew that you would get yours and then you left, hours before an event in which you were suppose to Main Event, you robbed them, YOU ROBBED ME!!!
Mike King: I told you you little shit that this wasn’t going to be tolerated, so last week I was down in Mexico competing in Mexican Championship Wrestling and I filled in Miguel on what was going on and we came to an agreement, I put him in contact with Frankie Manning. You pissed on the Mexican wrestling fans and I will not let you get away with it. They are the same as the fans in this arena here tonight. They pay their hard earned money see pieces of shit like you, get their asses kicked by people like me. Two weeks ago I came out here and cut a promo people are still talking about, I changed the way things are done here in the EWA and now, I’M GOING TO CHANGE THE WAY THINGS ARE DONE ON A LARGER LEVEL!!!!
Frankie Manning: Miguel and I have talked, and the EWA and the MCW came to an agreement, for the first time in history an event will take place on August 30th, our show, Rising From The Flames and the MCW’s show Across The Border will co-promote a single match, it will be their Main Event of the night and will be shown live on our air waves and in our arena, MIKE KING v. XAVIER REID, 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS SUPER LIBRE MATCH FOR THE EWA GLADIATORS CHAMPIONSHIP LIVE FROM MEXICO CITY!!!!
Miguel Chavez: I HAVE YOU FOR ONE MORE NIGHT CHICO.
Mike King: I TOLD YOU I WOULD STRIKE XAVIER, YOU WILL BE IN MY WORLD, ONE MEXICAN NATION AGAINST YOUR PUNK ASS!!!! AUGUST 30th, NO HOLDS BARED, BEST 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS IN MEXICO WHERE THE FANS CAN AND WILL THROW BATTERIES AND DIRTY DIAPERS AT YOU, I WILL BECOME THE FIRST EWA GLADAIATOR CHAMPION, NOT YOU!!!!
Frankie Manning: And after that match, you will get what you want, you will be a full time wrestler in the EWA, well if there is anything left of you kid, good luck!... Oh, and one more thing. I had a little talk with Miguel, and in the interest of International cooperation I have been invited to his event… so Xavier Reid, I’m going to be there LIVE in Mexico, in Mike Reid’s corner to watch you get your ass kicked!
-Frankie Manning tosses his microphone at a stunned Xavier and shakes hands once again with Miguel Chavez and exits the ring. Miguel waves at Xavier as Mike King holds the ropes open for him, Mike King turns and marches across the ring and gets right in the face of Xavier Reid who still seems shocked at the news, Mike King just smiles and mouths, ‘YOUR ASS IS MINE’-
Masters: Dirty diapers? C'mon, the Mexican fans have no respect for great wrestlers like Xavier Reid.
Timmons: But they respect Mike King because he does not and has not claimed America is better, he just goes out there and wrestles for the fans night after night just like he does here in the States. I can’t believe Manning is going to be in Mexico during out Pay Per View though, that can’t sit well with the Board of Directors, and especially K.C Kash
Masters: Manning’s let this get too personal, and now he’s flaunting off in a pivotal point in EWAs existence. Just shows you what kind of man he is.
Timmons: It is a bad management decision. I can’t believe he’s doing that. But then again, one of our matches… LIVE from Mexico, screened here. That’s unheard of, Manning certainly is taking chances and doing new things
Manning: It’s still a terrible call
The camera cuts back to Alfonso and Jose who both have huge smiles on their faces.
Alfonso Vargas: And with that being said, please welcome out General Manager, MIGUEL CHAVEZ!!!!
Traditional Mexican music plays and Miguel Chavez steps out onto the stage to a hero’s welcome, he waves to the fans and adjusts hi suit and walks to the ring shaking hands with the fans ringside. He walks up the steps and into the ring, he is handed a microphone as we steps to the center of the ring.
Miguel Chavez: Thank you for that warm welcome, and yes history was made last Tuesday night and I have heard some people say that I sold out, but that is the furthest from the truth, I did what I did for you fans! I could have just let that gringo just walk on and sign with the EWA even though he had a contract with me but what would have that said about me as a man and me as a General Manager? Sure the EWA could have bought him out but I wasn’t going to agree to that, Xavier Reid owes us one more match and owes you fans one more match. He was feeling the heat here, his loud mouth got him in heat with all of us and he ran like a little bitch back to the United States but I’m not going to allow it, he will be back in this ring August 30th at Across the Border and I urge all you with tickets to come here like a mob looking for blood because this will be a Super Libre Street Fight, so bring anything you want, we will allow anything in this arena for one night only, if you have ever been offended by that asshole come here and get your revenge, stand up and be proud that you are Mexican, wave the flag that that scumbag burned on national TV, show the world just how passionate we Mexicans are about professional wrestling and the Mexican Championship Wrestling!!! We will not be the door mat for people like Xavier Reid and we will not be pushed aside by companies like EWA, we are a proud company and I did not sell this company out, in fact we are getting a pretty penny as a co promoter of the EWA’s Rising from the Flames. You see, because we own the rights of Xavier Reid for one more match they were forced to cut the MCW in on the profit, it wasn’t personal between Manning and me, just business, we will be recognized as just not the best wrestling promotion in Mexico but a major player in this industry. I told them they couldn’t just toss money at this problem, no, that until that spineless bastard came back here for his last match they would be liable for using him and that Xavier himself would be in breach of contract, so we got the last laugh, I will welcome the EWA into the MCW for one night, I will personally extend my hand and friendship to Frankie Manning as he accompanies Mike King to the MCW and we will all stand united against one man, one cancer in this business
Miguel’s microphone cuts out as ‘Cochise’ plays and the crowd erupts in boos.

The camera shows Miguel spin around in the ring and look towards the stage but nobody walks out, instead the jumbo screen cuts to a live feed of Xavier Reid, the boos are deafening as he smiles.
Xavier Reid: Do you really believe all the crap you are out there spouting? Come on Miguel who are you trying to convince, these people or you? Are you trying to convince these idiots that this place is still a major player in the business of professional wrestling? Sure a long time ago when your grandfather ran this place it was the top promotion not only in Mexico but was the main attraction along the border but then came your father. He took over the MCW and tried to play hard ball with the talent, tried to be bigger that the business, made it about himself instead of the people in the ring and slowly over time the wrestlers has enough, so they slowly started leaving this place for better options and then when things looked like they couldn’t get any worse for this place they did, YOU TOOK OVER! And just like your stupid father you made it about you, you waddled your ass out here week after week and made damn sure your fat face gets air time over what little talent you have on that sorry excuse for a roster, so I understand why you played hardball with the EWA, I get it, I know they offered you a buyout, they were ready to toss money at you, money you could have used to pay some of the talent here or at least make due on the bounce checks you have been writing but no, you stood your ground and why, image! You had to show all the boys in the back that you would not be walked over because if you would have folded and allowed the EWA to have its way they would have seen that you are a weak man and those same wrestlers who you keep bouncing checks too would have walked because they would have finally seen that you have no real power, so you hold your ground, force me back here to show them that you and YOU ALONE WILL DICTATE HOW PEOPLE LEAVE THIS PLACE, THATN IT WILL BE ON YOUR TERMS AND YOU WANT TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF ME, SHOW THEM THAT NOBODY IS BIGGER THAN THE BUSINESS OR MIGUEL CHAVEZ HIMSELF, RIGHT?

Xavier Reid: And there lays the problem, you actually think you have the right to dictate anything to me. You are like all the rest of these stupid ass wrestling promoters, GM’s and owners, deep down in those little brains of yours you think you are completely responsible for every wrestlers success, like you and you alone had the great brain power to create Xavier Reid and without you I would have had none of my success when in actuality it’s guys like me that kept this shitty ass promotion afloat and will be for the foreseeable future. You see what you people are too stupid to realize is this has nothing to do about you the fans, he’s not forcing me back here because he feels I owe you people that one last match, hell if I wasn’t on national TV in the EWA he would have cared less and would not have spent all that money on lawyers dragging my ass back here, no, he is forcing me to wrestle that last match on my contract because it’s good business, for him, it will line his wallet with money, he’s bringing me back here for one last match because he knows it will be profitable, hell this pay per view is being broadcast in the US and Canada as well as Mexico, this is one last pay day for him and he knows it and you people are just too damn stupid to see it. When has the last time a Mexican Championship Wrestling show drawn this much excitement? Hmm, think about it, he’s not pissed I walked out, well ok maybe he was at first but now he can see the green it’s going to bring him and yes, that man does hate my guts and wants to see me get my ass kicked at Across the Borders and I have this suspicion he will do everything in his power to make sure I don’t walk out of that arena, because guys like him, they like to be the ones that end things on their terms, it’s a power trip for them to say, ‘yeah I finished that guy’ but sadly you are counting on Mike King.
Once Mike King’s name is mention the MCW crowd erupts in cheers and they begin to chant, ‘MIKE KING’ MIKE KING’
Xavier Reid: Yes continue to chant for a failure, he is one of you, a loser! You are all counting on Mike King to be the man that will once and put me in my place, to make me pay for all the things I said about you people and burning your flag and walking out on you, but you’re counting on Mike King, do you not see the flaw in this plan, YOU ARE COUNTING ON MIKE KING?!?!
Xavier starts to laugh.
Xavier Reid: Ok, I have given you spiks way too much time here tonight just know this, Tuesday August 30, Rising from the Flames/Across the Border, history will be made that night and you will all be a part of something so much bigger, I have backed up every word I have said since day one, I will walk out of your ring EWA Gladiator Champion and change the face of the wrestling world forever! COUNT ON IT!!!!!
The live feed goes to static and the camera fades back to Miguel Chavez standing in the ring as he just smiles.
5 MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT
The scene cuts inside the studio of ‘Mad Dog’ Malone’s weekly wrestling talk show on Sirius Satellite Radio. Xavier Reid walks into the studio and is handed a head set by a cute intern and takes a seat across from ‘Mad Dog’ Malone, who turns his baseball hat backwards and puts his head set on, the show intro starts and then the red sign flashes ON AIR Xavier slides his head set on and looks across the table.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: And we are back and joined live in the studio by a man that will be making history in 8 days as he competes for the EWA Gladiators Title on the Mexican Championship Wrestling’s pay per view, Xavier Reid, welcome to the ‘Mad Dog’ Malone show.
‘Mad Dog’ pushes a button and cow bell rings across the airwaves.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Xavier last week on Shatter Point you were offered a EWA contract
Xavier Reid: No, that’s not true, I wasn’t offered a contract by the EWA, I forced them to present me a contract, I played hardball with them, I have a shot at their new title and since I was only on a part time contract with the EWA I forced them to sign me long term or I would have walked and tossed that belt in the garbage live on TV to the highest bidder, Frankie Manning didn’t offer me anything, he might want to act like he’s in charge but make no doubt about it, I called the shots on that contract, he said I would never be in a EWA ring and look here, I’m one win away from once again being an EWA Champion.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: But they tossed you a curve ball X and the contract you signed doesn’t go into effect until after August 30th and there was a clause in it that you have to wrestle your last match in MCW on that night.
Xavier Reid: Yeah, something Manning just slipped in only after my lawyers approved the original contract.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Are you going to fight it?
Xavier Reid: No, I accept the term and am looking forward of going into the MCW at Across the Border and beating the beloved Mike King in front of Miguel Chavez and all his Mexican supports.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Well it was also announced that General Manager Frankie Manning will be live in Mexico, City and in the corner of Mike King.
Xavier Reid: I saw that.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Any concerns that there might be a screw job at the end of the match?
Xavier Reid: None, listen they can stack the odds in Mike King’s favor but at the end of the day Mike King still has to get the job done and we all know there is no shot at that.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: We do? Because I look at this match, in Mexico, in MCW, Miguel and Manning and I have to say Xavier I don’t like your chances, this is a Street Fight, anything goes and you have two General Managers that want nothing more than to see you fail.
Xavier Reid: Funny how that works right, Mike King gets on his soap box and goes all bitch on us and demands that matches be fought clean with no outside interference and then asks for this match to be a Super Libre Street Fight in Mexico, I guess it’s only a travesty when outside interference cost him a match, if it cost me I deserve it, what a fucking hypocrite right?
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Well that win over Ronnie McNeil would have been big for him
Xavier Reid: Any win at this point is a big fucking deal to this guy, Christ, I had to team up with him and get him his first win in this company, what he’s something like 1-7 and he gets a shot at the second most important title in this company, who the hell’s dick did this guy suck to get that kind of deal?
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Come on Xavier
Xavier Reid: No I’m serious, really what the hell did this guy do to get into this match, let alone a match for a shot at this belt, oh yeah, I know, HE RODE MY COATTAILS!!! If it wasn’t for me Mike King would be luck to be on this card, I am the only one making Mike King relevant in the EWA these days, but in his mind he is right where he belongs.
‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Care to elaborate?
Xavier Reid: It’s simple, there is a group of wrestlers in the EWA who are where they are in this company because of past reputations, they are hanging on for dear life while younger guys like myself have to literally beat the existence out of them, guys like Mike King and Ronnie McNeil may have at one point been considered good, valued employees and raising stars but times have changed, these guys have no business being booked as stars or being treated as such, two weeks ago I got my hands on Ronnie McNeil and sent him packing, literally crushed his face in making good on a promise I made before Retaliation, I promised to retire whatever so called ‘STAR’ that Frankie Manning brought out, sure it took me a bit longer than I thought but look, Ronnie McNeil is gone from the EWA, you’ll are welcome!

Xavier Reid: Well then they have weak, I am here to rid the EWA of the weak and non talented ‘stars’ and it will continue on to Mike King. This man has done nothing here in the EWA and is treated like a star and that is going to stop, this entitlement these guys feel because they use to be good on a mediocre roster in a company that fell flat on its face. Now his head is filled with praise he’s getting for changing the face of the EWA with his little rant a few weeks back, acting like a little hero but why did he demand these changes, oh because he was screwed, he didn’t do it for the betterment of the company or even the fans, it was a selfish act from a selfish individual, don’t let him fool you, it wasn’t for the fans, he wouldn’t have bitched if I would have if he had won, Mike King only cares about Mike King and he’s using those fans, those poor cheated fans, fighting for them, please, I got those morons to cheer me a month ago, I got them to turn on you and cheer me!!! They are sheep and will follow anything and anyone. So they praise Mike King for changing the face of the EWA, no, sorry, you didn’t change the EWA, you had a small impact on this company, what I’m about to do at Rising from the Flames/Across the Border will change the face of professional wrestling forever!!!

‘Mad Dog’ Malone: Miguel Chavez
Xavier Reid: Funny, no, not Miguel Chavez, he is a small speck in this entire thing, collateral damage when it’s all said and done, it will be the biggest regret of his privileged life. Mike King and I have been the talk of the wrestling world and why, because of what I have been doing, because of my actions, I have had the world watching and I haven’t disappointed. Christ, I’m not even on the roster and I’m the biggest draw in this company and the one match people can’t wait to see, hell people all over North America are going to pay the ridicules price of $59.99 for the Mexican Championship Wrestling pay per view and they are going to do so because of one match and one match only, you have been getting e-mails all week about this match, it’s the only one on both cards that is generating any hype and why, because of me and me alone and now that the hype is overwhelming both Frankie Manning and Miguel Chavez are trying to cash in because they can’t generate this kind of hype without me. Rising from the Flames and Across the Border are below average cards without me, everyone knows that including the two oh so powerful General Managers. They are both hoping and praying that Mike King will come through in the clutch, that he will sack up, find his nuts and be the man that shuts me up once and for all but these two GM’s will have to sit there and watch as I crush all their hopes on the 30th and they will be forced to do the unthinkable, ring the bell, raise my hand and reward me the EWA Gladiator Championship, it will be worse than doomsday for those two men and I promise at nights end, the wrestling world will never be the same again.
