| The scene opens to show last week's EWA World Title Main Event Match pitting challenger Crimson Blaze against champion Justin Marsham. From the get-go, the match was fire until one fell swoop counter from a Kode of Silence by Marsham making Blaze tap in the middle of the ring. After the match is over, as Blaze was walking up the ramp, a loud BANG was uttered before Blaze turns around to see Marcellus Payne standing above Marsham! Blaze ran back in to make the save but being tired from the epic match that was just held, Payne was unstoppable, until the EWA General Manager Frankie Manning made yet another appearance.
Manning: Stop stop stop! Blaze, you want Payne next week? You've got it! But Marsham will be in your corner!
As Blaze comprehends all this, he stands in the corner protecting Marsham as Payne smiles before getting out of the ring as the show ends.
NEXT DAY.
The scene opens to find CB training, like every other session he has he has to up the consequences. Because CB lost, he finds himself gritting his teeth again and again after finally hitting his final repetition of 100 on the bench press. He places the bar back on its starting position before looking into the camera, sweat pouring down his face.
CB: I dreamed again... The pain and torture of once again not being able to grasp the brass ring has yet once more eluded me and honestly, there's nothing I can do about it except grit my teeth and move on because that's what our lifestyle is. At Shatter Point, I have to face a Pope in Marcellus Payne in order to get back at him for attacking an already weakened Justin Marsham. Luckily for me, Justin will be in my corner... but I have to ask myself, will Justin be there? Because what concerns me is this... Pablo wasn't with me last week in my match against Marsham, so what are the chances I'll be left alone again to fight? It concerns me because I've been on a losing streak for quite awhile... The only real victory I had was against Tim Timmons, and he's out doing commentary now.
CB wipes the sweat off of his face with a white 100% cotton towel before looking back at the camera, his eyes focused yet solemn.
CB: I find myself in a position of failure after failure and no matter how hard it is that I try, no matter what it is that I do in the ring, I somehow lose focus and somehow lose the match altogether, but not this time.
Payne... Your name fits well, because at Shatter-Point, I will be giving you nothing BUT pain and suffering for the injustice you've given me and Justin.
THE KODE OF SILENCE....
....HAS CHOSEN YOU!
CB returns back to his workout before the scene fades to black.
