Due to financial insecurities, EWA owner K.C. Kash has decided to make the tough decision. In a meeting with another promoter who's name was not given, Kash sold his rights to the EWA name. As of this moment, EWA has been dissolved, but from the ashes rises a new power in the wrestling world! Global Championship Wrestling, or GCW, will pick up right where EWA left off! The GCW officials have decided that forcing the already established Champions and Contenders of the EWA to start over would be poor business, so Contenders will remain in place, and the Champions will take their spots as the new GCW Champions in a ceremony on the first episode of GCW Ground War! This will see EWA World Champion Justin Marsham taking up the GCW Global Championship, Gladiator Champion Xavier Reid becoming the GCW North American Champion, Outlaw Champion Weezle becoming GCW Rising Star Champion, and The Southern Express being crowned GCW Tag-Team Champions! The GCW welcomes the former EWA talent and EWA fans to their new home, and welcome....TO THE REVOLUTION!

(Yes, friends, EWA is once again under new mangement, and in return, has a new face. Worst Day of My Life

Mike King's Facebook page has quote him saying that Rising ABove the Flames was the worst day of his life. There has been no reports of if he will be at Shatter Point and what he is doing with his career from this point going forward. Also King called Frankie Manning the Bernie Madoff of professional wrestling based on his actions. With MCW dead, has Mike King hung up his boots for the last time or will he be back seeking vengeance?

HEY

Those of you that are on the ACTIVE ROSTER, I need you to PM me on the board with a quick message about where your character/storyline should be headed for the next Shatterpoint. This is so that in the event Mort does not post a card today, I can put one up tomorrow at Noon EST because I don't think anybody wants to wait any longer! Even if I've already gone over some ideas with you, MAKE SURE THAT YOU MESSAGE ME AGAIN AND TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON....TODAY.

I'm doing my part, so make sure you do yours too and show up for your matches! And anybody that has the time to write a match, let me know that in your message as well. I'll probably only need one or two people. Probably one. MAYBE two.

As always, I'd like to close this post by reminding you all that I'm probably going to be fired for this.

EWA House Show Results for 9/4/2011

Jimmy Lane defeated Alex Daniels in 10:37 via pinfall

Damien Winters defeated William MacGregor in 8:24 via pinfall (Weezle came out on to the stage and distracted MacGregor, allowing Winters to roll him up for the pin. Afterwards, Weezle attacked MacGregor with his pipe and then attempted to take the Outlaw title back, but the one that MacGregor brought down to the ring was a Styrofoam copy. Weezle tore it up and chased MacGregor to the back.)

Thrax defeated SNA via DQ in 13:45 (Just as Thrax had SNA set up for his finisher, Devin Hearst hit the ring and attacked Thrax. Hearst brought another stained glass table into the ring, but Thrax was able to fight both Hearst and SNA off. SNA was visibly injured during the match, favoring his left knee from about the halfway point all the way up until he left.)

Weezle defeated Jason Xavier via pinfall in 15:32. (MacGregor tried to jump Weezle after the match, but Weezle hit the mole on MacGregor and didn't release until the Sinister Scot was out cold.)

El Feugo defeated Xavier Reid and 'Black Jesus' Marcellus Payne in 22:20. (CB got the pin on Reid, but after the match Payne and Reid jumped him. When Pablo attempted to intervene, Reid laid him out with a superkick and both men proceeded to put the boots to El Feugo. RONNIE MCNEIL made the save, knocking Reid and Payne out of the ring with a pair of clotheslines. As Reid was backing up the ramp with Frankie Manning, Justin Marsham made his appearance and ran both of them back into the ring, where Ronnie McNeil punched Manning out, and Marsham and El Pablo began trading finishers on Xavier Reid in an attempt to one up each other. The show ended after three finishers on Reid each, and with Marsham holding the title up between himself and El Pablo once again before exiting the ring. Afterwards, Crimson Blaze and El Pablo hung out around ringside while signing autographs and taking pictures with the fans.)

THE EWA TOP TEN

1.) Justin Marsham - The EWA World Champion comes in at the top spot with an impressive win over Marcellus Payne at Rising from the Flames. It doesn’t get any easier for Marsham from here, because up next he's got to deal with the 5-Star Superstar.

2.) El Pablo - The new Number One Contender to the WHC came out on top against his El Fuego teammate, and now has his sights set firmly on Justin Marsham

3) Xavier Reid - Beat the odds in Mexico and showed the world that he and the GM were on the same page from the start. But just when Reid and Manning thought they had the upper hand, they were shocked by the return of Ronnie McNeil. Don't count Mike King out either, his battle with Xavier Reid could be far from over.

4.) SNA - He took out the legendary Mortus and sent a message to the EWA that things are about to change. Be afraid, EWA. Be very afraid.

5.) Weezle - Finally took the Outlaw Championship off of Buck Evans, only to have the belt stolen for him moments later. Weezle may not have the belt, but he still has his lead pipe, and a certain opportunistic Scotsman on his radar.

6.) Southern Express - This legendary tag team added another prize to their collection and took out the most dangerous tag team in the EWA. Total Mayhem may be finished, but the tag team title race is just heating up - TJ Young and Alex Daniels of Team NeXtreme look to take on the new champions next.

7.) Crimson Blaze - Has been on a wild ride of late with a ton of near misses. Now that he’s on the outside of the WHC picture, what will CB do to prove he belongs?

8.) William McGregor - The Sinister Scot picked up a win over Damien Winters, and then stole the EWA Outlaw Championship right out from under from the new champion. He'd better grow eyes in the back of his head, Weezle could be anywhere.

9.) Thrax - Despite some impressive wins of late, he was left off of Rising from the Flames, rumor has it that he’s pissed and ready to prove to the EWA brass that no one will be able to snuff his star on the rise.

10.) Mike King - Came up short against Xavier Reid and is now being blamed for the closure of the MCW. If the rumors of retirement turn out to be bogus, then it would appear that MK will be a man seeking revenge not only for himself, but a nation as well.

IN THE MAIN EVENT
El Pablo and Crimson Blaze will team up once again as EL FUEGO to face the team of the EWA Gladiator Champion Xavier Reid and 'Black Jesus' Marcellus Payne....with the EWA General Manager Frankie Manning in their corner!!!!!

EWA Outlaw Champion Weezle will battle the high flying Jason Xavier!

Thrax will be in action, taking on 'Showtime' Nick Alexander....and SNA will be accompanied to the ring by his newest ally Devin Hearst!

Damien Winters will go one on one with William MacGregor in a rematch from RFTF!

Alex Daniels from Team NeXtreme will take on one half of the NEW EWA Tag Team Champions, 'Classy' Jimmy Lane!

Also....EWA World Heavyweight Champion Justin Marsham WILL be making an appearance in New Jersey! What will Marsham have to say after his confrontation with El Pablo at the end of Rising from the Flames?!
