Asking for/demanding mod powers (I thought I saw a thread where you demanded staff as well) isn't going to make you look like anything more like a whiner who's demanding power less than 2 weeks after joining. Earn the trust of the community, and you might get somewhere. Demanding power after less than 10 posts will not, trust me. 
You might say I'm out of line in saying this (And a few others may as well, given the way I left), but frankly, I don't care. I'm a former staff member from the old EWA boards and dating back to the CZW era, so I've seen it happen a few times with similar results. Just, for the good of the fed in general, think before you speak/post. I know my opinion won't matter to you, but just try and take it into consideration.
