Okay, this may not be the way we are used to doing things, but this is a new site, and there are going to be things changed that go 'against the norm' type thing. The only reason i say that is i'm not a HUGE fan of this fix, but this site does make what i'm about to announce easier

The problem with PMs CANNOT be fixed. As such i have worked out another fix. When you have to send in RPs/matches then click on the B.O.D profile and then hit the E=MAIL ADDRESS The profile window should ask you what server you wish to use (yahoo, google, AIM etc) and then take you there to type the messag send. Its a little bit round abourt, but after the first time you will see just how easy it is to do. The BOD Email will be constantly monitered by ALL staff, so you will always know that it will be read.

As for users sending RPs etc to each other for whatever reason i will set up a couple of general use forums that are locked down. If you want use of it for that week (joint RP for tag match etc) just ask a memeber of staff for the password to the forum so you can have a private message in there. Again, i KNOW this isnt what we're used to, and we all knew there would have to be SOMETHING wrong with these boards eventually, but i hope you are all happy with my fix of the situation

Any questions PM me (as long as its below 1000 characters smile ) or reply here. If you dont understand something JUST SAY, no worries, and ill explain in more detail

Hope this is all okay for everyone, please do not start using the old boards for convenience in PMing, as it detracts from our moving here.

Thanks

The Board of Directors

Hate to be obtuse here, but you may need to explain in more detail. I tried to follow your instructions but the system never asks me what server to use, it just gives me a place to type the message and then tells me its too long again. It is not exactly the same box as when I try a PM.

The best option is actually to click the "E-Mail" button that appears below the text of a BoD post on the forum. That appears to offer you a rather more legitimate e-mail form, as opposed to the profile one which - as far as I can tell - is even more limited than the PMs supposedly are atm.

Failing that, just use your standard e-mail, as I have smile

okay, i didnt actually see any problem. When i clicked the email address it just took me to yahoo in the window to send a normal Email. I dont know whats happening to you JA.

Member search BoD, click the email address and it should take you to your own email to write.

If theres still something wrong let us know man

Sorry bout this

Nah, Ep's suggestion to look for the email in a BOD post seemed to work just fine, so I'll just do that. Should be cool from now on.
