||Generic rock music blasts and the camera pans around a TV studio. Weezle is sitting on a blue set on Score TV’s “Right After Wrestling” television show, a Canadian talk show that discusses all things professional wrestling. Its host, the slick-haired and equally slick-talking Mauro Ranallo looks away from Weezle and into the camera as the music fades.||

Mauro: “Welcome back to ‘Right After Wrestling’. It is now time for my exclusive one-on-one interview with the EWA’s number one contender for the Outlaw Championship, and Canada’s own, Weezle. Weezle, it’s great to have you.”

Weezle: “Mauro, thanks for having me. I’m a big fan.”

M: “Thanks. I love me too. Now Weezle, it was only a few weeks ago that your career was in jeopardy, and many people were questioning the EWA’s decision to bring you in. Now, you find yourself days away from fighting Buck Evans for the Outlaw Championship. How do you explain that large swing in momentum?”

W: “Well, I realized that the best thing for me, was to look after myself. I think for years I’ve had this reputation of trying to be, you know, too good, I guess. I was always trying to look out for the fans, the company, help other guys… and I’m not saying I don’t still... but the only person I wasn’t looking out for was Weezle. And, I hope I don’t sound like a bell-end, but you have to be a little selfish in this business. And, well, look at where I am now.”

M: “Weezle, I’ve always been a fan of yours, and it’s great to see you getting some success. But in the past, you were known for and prided yourself on your technical wrestling, never really being one to go the more, ‘hardcore’ route. Yet, a lot of your success came after you recently started using that iron pipe. Why the change in styles?”

W: “Mauro, I wouldn’t say I’ve changed my style. I still am and will always be a technical wrestler. That’s my training, that’s my background, that’s what I know. The Hart camp taught me technical wrestling. My amateur wrestling experience always has and always will influence my figthting style. But the pipe, well, when you’re getting jumped from behind, or you’re in the ring with guys that are trying to end your career, you do what you have to do. Look, I was… I was ticked off. I was in a really angry state of mind. I look back at some of those promos, and honestly, I barely recognize myself. But, I look back at those… and there’s a raw honesty about them. Wouldn’t you be pissed off if your boss came in and said, ‘Mauro, you have to fight Cam Stewart for your job. And if you don’t win, you’re fired immediately.’ It backs you into a corner. It makes you feel like an animal. My emotions were running so high, that I was willing to do whatever it took to win.”

M: “So what do you have in store for Buck Evans?”

W: “Heh, come on Mauro, you know I can’t let that slip. Honestly though, I expect a good fight. Buck’s a tough guy, I just don’t really like how he handled his whole contract and title thing. Ya know, I… I believe respect is earned. You don’t beg for it. But, hey, that’s just my opinion.”

M: “And you know what they say about opinions…”

W: “That yours are full of shit?”

M: “Well, I do hear that, actually.”

W: “Well watch what you tweet than.”

M: “Weezle, since we’re only a few days away from Rising From the Flames, what are your predictions on the rest of the card?”

W: “Well, I’ve seen a lot of these guys before from my old CEW days, so you know I’m pulling for them. Xavier is a tough guy, and I hope he does well. SNA is someone I’ve always respected, and I think he’s a living legend. He’s the type of guy that keeps me a fan of wrestling. The Mayhems, they just plain scare the crap out of me, and make me glad I’m not part of a tag team.”

M: “What about the World Championship scene?”

W: “Oh man, talk about two great fights. For the number one contender, I think this is going to be a great fight. I think it could go either way, but if I had to pick, I’m going with Crimson. No knock in El Pablo, because I think he would represent EWA great, but I’m picking Crimson. As for the main event, Justin Marsham is a scary dude. I’m almost afraid to see what he’s going to do. I think he’ll come out of there with the title, but I don’t know if either of them will ever walk the same again.”

M: “Well Weezle, I wish you the best of luck. Ladies and gentlemen, Rising of the Flames is only a few days away! Be sure to order it on PPV, because this is going to be one amazing, action filled event. We’ll be back with another chapter of our Legends Discussion with Koko B. Ware after this.”
