| The scene opens with Bobby Rose and Jimmy Lane looking through a bin of old bandanas, they are each grabbing matching colors to color coronate with each other, Red Fitzgerald walks into the room talking on his cell phone.
Red: That sounds great I’ll tell the boys.
Both Bobby and Jimmy stop and look at Red.
Red: Great, we will talk this week at Shatter Point Mr. Manning, yes, see you then.
Jimmy: Did the make us Tag Team Champions?
Bobby: Don’t be stupid, they are not just going to give us the belts, did they make a match for the titles? Who are we facing?
Red: No, I mean yes they are going to make a match for those vacant belts and yes we will be involved in that match, I’m going to have a sit down this week before Shatter Point with Manning about that. I told him we have not been beaten since we got to the EWA, we have beaten Sons of Ohio and The Wreckers, I told him we deserve to be in any match where those belts are being decided so we are going to meet this week.
Bobby: So who are we facing this week?
Jimmy: Yeah, who is the next to fall to The Southern Express?
Bobby and Jimmy high five and look to Red.
Red: Well Bobby you are facing Dennis Clayton.
Bobby: Dennis Clayton? Man we already beat Sons of Ohio, Jimmy and I are going to kill those two..
Jimmy: You know it!
Red: No, Joshua Newsome isn’t in this match.
Bobby: So it’s a handicap match, that’s not really fair but ok.
Jimmy: Two on One, Southern Express style!
Bobby looks at Jimmy Lane and shakes his head.
Bobby: No, not Southern Express style, that sounded creepy Jimmy.
Jimmy: Sorry.
Red: No, guys it’s not a handicap match, it’s going to be Bobby Rose verses Dennis Clayton in a singles match.
Bobby: Singles match? I ain’t a singles wrestler, we are The Southern Express, Tag Team Icons..
Jimmy: Tag Team Icons baby!
Red: Well Newsome can’t wrestle this week.
Bobby: Not our problem daddy-o.
Jimmy: That’s right, not our problem daddy-o.
Red: Well it’s a singles match, Jimmy can be at ringside but it’s just one on one.
Bobby: Christ, I haven’t wrestled a singles match in 25 years, you explained to the EWA that we are a tag team right?
Red: Yes, but from time to time this stuff is going to happen, so this week you are just going to have to wrestle, alone.
Jimmy and Bobby just look at each other like they have no idea what they are going to do.
Scene opens with a huge EWA banner in the background, Bobby Rose walks into the scene in a vintage Southern Express T-shirts and a pair of stone washed jeans.
Bobby: Dennis Clayton, I don’t know how you did it, but by hook or crook you got Bobby Rose out of his element and wrestling a singles match this week but make no mistake daddy I’ll be ready to go ALL NIGHT LONG! Now they say you are some sort of MMA star, whatever that is…
Bobby does a bunch of karate moves.
Bobby: But that karate crap might work in at cage thing but it’s not going to work in the squared circle, son you are stepping into the ring with a man that has more wrestling experience in his little finger than you have in your entire body and I will show you fine folks all that this week. Dennis Clayton, me and Jimmy have taken you boys out before and this week will be no different, we will send you and that Mountain Man back down the ranks on our way to Tag Team Gold. You boys had your moment in the spotlight but don’t feel bad, losing to us doesn’t make you a bad team, it just makes you like all the rest, a step below us. My suggestion to you, knock off all that so called cage fighting and learn to W-R-E-S-T-L-E. This week will be lesson number one, SOUTHERN EXPRESS STYLE!!!
