EWA Television.

Not too much can be seen beyond the gentle haze of smoke and darkness. One individual has now emerged onto the screen – separating commercial breaks no different than Moses divided the Red Sea. The familiar countenance of Justin Marsham, EWA's own Heavyweight Champion, takes shape over the screen. Wisps of smoke slither across his flesh before dissipating, offering the Epitome of Technical Finesse an eerie introduction.

Words soon leave his lips and the EWA Heavyweight Champion would speak, his voice contaminated with disappointment and reeking of disapproval.

“I do not have much time to reflect this week. Obligations as the EWA Heavyweight Champion have booked me full when I am not preparing for Shatter Point, so I will make this short and sweet. I find myself in a state of stupor – utterly and absolutely confused by the decision-making of a one Crimson Blaze. Blaze, I offered you a shot at the Heavyweight Championship because you deserved some recognition. I offered you my assistance for your match against Black Jesus, Marcellus Payne. I've stood up for you when others have claimed 'he didn't deserve a shot'. What do you do to show me appreciation? You use me as a scapegoat for your inability to close a match.”

He speaks of his previous weeks involving Crimson Blaze. Blaze has been on quite the losing streak and he has – in Marsham's perspective – lost control of all reality. The decision-making Blaze has made has disappointed the Epitome of Technical Finesse, especially after what happened at the last Shatter Point which is landing Marsham in tag team action and forcing him to team with the very man who could take the Heavyweight Championship from him, Black Jesus.

“You have no one to blame but yourself. You even tried to push it off on El Pablo, but something clicked. Why not utilize me? Right? Why not? I've got one good reason for you: you don't want to tango with me again. We've been down this road and my patience for unappreciative little bastards does wear thin. Now, you're dragging El Pablo into matters that don't concern him. He didn't abandon you just as I didn't cause you to lose your match against Payne. Shit happens and last I knew the world didn't revolve around you...it revolves around me.”

Marsham smirks – allowing some of his egotistical side to shine through. The choices he has made over the past few weeks have drawn the curiosity of wrestling fans. Marsham has long been a despised performer – respected for his in-ring talent – but hated for his under-handed tactics and foul attitude. Yet, something has changed in him now. The Epitome of Technical Finesse has taken on a different demeanor; and one that has garnered a relatively large fan following. Somehow, some believe, the Heavyweight Championship has transformed him. Nevertheless, those ego-driven remarks still randomly shine through.

“So, please – sit tight. You seem to think that the reunion of El Fuego is even relative when you are facing a team of two people who do not like each other's company. Black Jesus, I find it unnerving how many times you've assaulted me from behind...or tried to get the upper hand over me. Don't you realize, no matter how many times you attack me or how many matches you cause me to lose, how many distractions you use or whatever tactics you think will get you an advantage – they mean nothing to the man who has done it all? I've been where you are right now...a challenger. I was there not too long ago, in fact. I know what you're going through and what importance it is to make that ever-so-deep impact. Unfortunately for you, the only impact you will be making is head first into the canvas ala a Wicked Driver from the most wicked EWA Heavyweight Champion ever. You know, I've been working on something special for you for a the last couple weeks or so and I think you're going to really like it. But – you're going to have to wait until the Supercard to find out. This week, we are to be team mates!”

Disgust is evident in Marsham's voice as he utters those last few words. He flashes a second smirk, allowing it to play over his lips for a few moments – letting all he has said soak in before continuing:

“This won't be the first time we've teamed together Payne. If you remember the last time, I carried your ass to victory. This time, I don't care if we win or lose. I know very well that it is going to come down to you and I operating as some broken-ass machine while Blaze and Pablo reunite in their old glory. I'm not disillusioned at all. You just keep referring to yourself in the third person and twirling around your pimp cane like some trashy preacher from Harlem trying out for color guard. I'll show ya' how it's done.”

It would not be long until Black Jesus and the Epitome of Technical Finesse would meet in the squared circle. Marsham is not pleased by the match this week, but so are the ways of life. He allows another several moments of silence to settle over the segment. When he would eventually continue, it would be his departing words:

“El Pablo. You and I have no beef. You know that. I know that, so don't pretend that there is. All I ask is that you try to talk some common sense into that thick skulled friend of yours. If not, you'll be scraping fragments of that skull up off the pavement. I'm not very forgiving the second time around. The code of silence will chose him next...permanently.”

His final statement is a spin on Crimson Blaze's catchphrase; however, Marsham is completely serious. Without sign of desperation or care, Marsham pleads with El Pablo to knock some sense into Crimson Blaze.

Will this request happen? Or, is El Pablo to blind to see that Blaze has some serious confidence issues?

We will find out soon! Stay tuned!
