| (The scene opens up with La Diva Gaga and Chris Tolwar walking outside of Magnolia’s. They both hold their stomachs after having their cupcakes from the bakery.)
Chris Tolwar: Now that was awesome.
(Gaga nods in agreement.)
La Diva Gaga: Yes it was. I can’t believe how good they were.
(Tolwar smiles.)
Tolwar: I know right, that’s why I said let’s go.
Gaga: Yeah too bad Mike wasn’t here to have some. He would have loved these.
(Tolwar nods holding another bad of Magnolia cupcakes in a doggie bag.)
Tolwar: Yeah but with how psycho he is going, it was a good thing. I mean come on, do we really need to be witnesses to him attacking the cashier?
(Gaga giggles at the thought of that.)
Gaga: Yeah that would be bad. I do not know what is up about him. I mean I understand him snapping on me, but what about spitting at you?
(Tolwar looks confused (like normal.))
Tolwar: Yeah, that made no sense. Especially when he knows how mad I get over that. Man I hate when people spit on me. That’s like the lowest thing you can do to me.
(Gaga looks at the bag Tolwar has in his hand.)
Gaga: Did you get a to-go bag?
(Tolwar nods.)
Tolwar: Yeah because these cupcakes are the bomb. I can have them any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Gaga: That they are. But you know they are not gonna help you beat Edward Croft.
(Tolwar stares a hole into Gaga.)
Tolwar: What do you mean? These cupcakes have magical abilities.
Gaga: I mean you cannot just win because you eat so many cupcakes you get to fat to lift…
(Gaga stares at Tolwar again wondering if what he said was true.)
Gaga: That’s not your plan right?
(Tolwar shakes his head.)
Tolwar: No it is not. I didn’t think of it. It actually sounds like a good idea though. I might take that up for future use. But do you really think I can’t do i?. That I will not win but lose to Edward Croft. You think I will lose against him don’t you? You think I am not gonna be able to hang with the wrestlers here in EWA.
(Gaga wants to be truthful but he does not want to admit to it.)
Tolwar: Come on, Man, be straight with me…
(Gaga just stares at Tolwar for that particular remark.)
Gaga: Really Chris, you must be that much of a dick?
(Tolwar quickly realizes what he said.)
Tolwar: Yeah I know, that was kind of a low-blow there. My bad.
(Gaga looks at King.)
Gaga: It’s fine man.
(Tolwar quickly changes the topic from that to the original one.)
Tolwar: What about me winning, do you see it or no?
(Gaga looks at Tolwar.)
Gaga: Seriously, maybe. I don’t see you doing it if you are not a serious competitor. I mean he beat you once before in a big match situation. In another tournament.
(Tolwar sits by the door of Magnolia’s on the pavement.)
Tolwar: I know man, that’s what sucks about facing him. My first match here, it’s me and him. I can’t shake him. I lost to him to be the next Bad Ass of CZW and I failed at that. I don’t know if I can do that. I do not know if I can shake being a goof because that seems like the only thing I am good at.
(Mike King shows up all of a sudden sitting on a dumpster.)
Mike King: You maybe a goof but damn, you got talent.
(King leaps down from the dumpster. His two protégés just look at him not sure what to expect.)
King: Easy tigers. I am not looking to do anything.
(King first looks at Gaga.)
King: Listen Gaga, I am sorry for choking you but what you said hurt me. It hurt me real bad. But it just drives me more.
(King now turns to look at Tolwar.)
King: And Chris, Chris I was trying to get you serious because I know you are not a damn joke. You can be one of the all time greats here in EWA if you just focus yourself. You lack total concentration Chris. Once you get that, you’ll be on the edge of glory.
(Gaga starts smiling. He then starts dancing and singing.)
Gaga: I'm on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment of truth.
Out on the edge of glory, and I'm hanging on a moment with you.
(King and Tolwar look and laugh at Gaga.)
Tolwar: This will be youtube gold.
(King nods while giggiling.)
King: I know right? Where’s the cameras when we need it?
(Gaga realizes what’s going on and stops.)
Gaga: Hey!
(King and Tolwar start laughing again.)
King: Sorry man.
(Gaga runs and hugs the both of them.)
Gaga: Nah it’s cool, I’m sure I was dancing up a storm.
(Tolwar laughs.)
Tolwar: Yeah you were…
(Gaga lets go of Tolwar and King.)
Tolwar: So do you think I can finally beat Edward Croft?
(King looks at Tolwar)
King: I can see you doing it. You just have to focus. You have to be ready to do it and have faith in yourself that you can do it and you will.
(Tolwar looks at King and smiles.)
Tolwar: You know, I think I am finally ready to shake that monkey off my back. I think wait a second, scratch that. I know I can beat him. He beat me once before but I know what it takes to beat him. Now, what can we do to prepare for Edward Croft?
(King hands Tolwar a boombox and Tolwar looks at him like he has three heads.)
Tolwar: A boombox, really?
(King looks at him.)
King: What, I love the classics. Don’t judge me.
(Gaga shakes his head.)
King: Hit play already. I got the best work out music for you right here.
(Tolwar presses play and “No Easy Way Out” by Bullet For My Valentine plays. Tolwar and Gaga just look at King.)
Gaga: Isn’t this a cover of that song from Rocky IV?
(King nods and Tolwar just looks at him.)
Tolwar: I liked the original better. So is this my training song or are you shitting me?
(King nods.)
Tolwar: Where’s the cameras, am I getting punked?
(King shakes his head “no.”)
Tolwar: So by working out to this song, I will be able to beat Croft?
(King fist pumps.)
King: Know about it!
(Tolwar face palms himself and walks away with Gaga.)
King: Come on man! It’s a fool proof plan Chris.
(King starts following them as the scene ends.)
