Your Wrestler's Pic Base: Justice Smith
Your Wrestler's Name: Skyscraper
Pro Wrestling Debut: Early 2010
Trained By: Billy Williams, J. A. Sawyer
Alignment: Heel
Associates: Big Al Tubbs, Hindenburg
Short Bio: Skyscraper came into wrestling because of his size, no other reason. He wanted to be a bodybuilder but his height became an obstacle in that, but he did compete two years in a row in Strongest man competitions in America. Many of his friends and fans told him to try professional wrestling, since a man his height can sometime achieve great popularity even if they can't wrestle. In training, though, he found himself taking to it very quickly. While he isn't a scientific wrestler by any means, he has learned a great deal and understands the strategy behind wrestling; in other words, he is a smart big man. In his independent matches in Americas upper Midwest, he met manager Big Al Tubbs and they became friends, colleagues, and travel partners. Just over two months ago, Tubbs suggested they find a tag partner for Skyscraper and join a larger promotion to really get their names out. Tubbs found a big man in Oregon named Hindenburg and, after a handful of tag matches together, Tubbs arranged for a provisional contract in EWA.
HT & WT: 6' 11", 330 lbs
Age/Date of Birth: 24
Other Accolades/Previous Titles:
Entrance Music: Burn in Hell by Twisted Sister
Entrance Details: Skyscraper walks out onto the entrance ramp and begins to walk to the ring. He seems to notice the fans, walks over to them (ofter choosing shorter fans) and just stands over them glaring down. After doing this a few second, he continues to the ring. He walks around the ring once, stopping again to stand looking down at the audience, then he hops up onto the ring apron and steps over the top rope to enter. He stands over and stares menacingly down at the referee and announcer before they leave.
Location/Place of Birth:
Finishing Move (can use up to 3): The Hangman (clutch style sleeperhold; opponents less than 6'9" he lifts off their feet), Giant Superplex (Skyscraper on 2nd rope, opponent on top), Tilt-a-whirl Bomb
Signature Moves (up to 5): Gorilla Press Slam (not for opponents over 280 lbs or so), Huge leaping knee drop to head, sitting spinebuster, shoulder powerslam, powerbomb
Frequent Moves (up to 15): knee drop, leg drop, choke with foot in corner, big boot, full nelson, backbreaker, side slam, spinebuster, airplane spin/slam, repeated facepalm slaps and backhands, Head crush (hands on both sides of opponent's head), sleeper hold (really leans into it), leg scissors, full nelson slam, overhead backbreaker.
Ring Style: Skyscraper is a tall giant who does not want to fit into the same old tall man mold. Even though he can't do many moves because of his height, he has trained with high flyers and scientific wrestlers so he can at least counter their moves. His basic attack is big man moves mixed with more wear-down and submission holds than a big man usually uses (a strategy that has rubbed off on Hindenburg). He particularly loves to get other big men into moves they don't usually have to worry about (like a figure four or scorpion deathlock, moves that smaller men have difficulty applying to bigger men). He will also trick his opponents by acting hurt and then nailing them when they try to take advantage. He is very vocal in the ring, taunting his opponents mercilessly, especially when he lands a good, big move. He is much more animated than his partner, often moving around the ring when he is not doing anything else. He commands the ring like a pro, but he does not pace himself well and sometimes finds himself winded and vulnerable if his assault fails to take his opponent out. He also gets too into taunting his opponent or the audience, allowing the opponent to recover or pull a sudden move.
