IVAN A JOBALOT

E-Mail: ivanajobalot@yahoo.com
Your Wrestler's Pic Base: Val Venis
Your Wrestler's Name: Ivan A. Jobalot
Pro Wrestling Debut: Sept 2010
Trained By: Joe Broni
Alignment (Face/Heel): Face
Associates: Joe Broni
Short Bio: Ivan is American by birth but born to Soviet immigrants, so he does have a small accent and ties to Russia. So far he has mostly worked in menial jobs and has not had a lot of success in life. He is a wrestling fan from childhood, and when he learned it was possible to train, he made every arrangement he could. Not having a lot of funding, he found a small-time pro wrestling trainer in the New York area and made a deal that he would work for the man in various ways and not pay for the training. Sadly, you get what you pay for, and so far Ivan's eagerness has not been matched by training and talent. Ivan has wrestled dozens of matches in the New York area and has lost every one of them, even a match where his opponent did not show up and, in his excitement, Ivan accidentally tackled the ref and was disqualified. Ivan does have a huge heart and great ambition, so he powers on in his attempt for fame and fortune...or at least to be noticed.
HT & WT: 5'11", 245 lbs
Age/Date of Birth: 23, Nov 11.
Other Accolades/Previous Titles: Nada
Entrance Music: "I'm a Loser" by the Beatles
Entrance Details: Ivan's music begins to play and he steps out onto the ramp, usually to a mixed reaction. He greets the fans with a big smile and high fives those he can reach. Usually, either walking down the ramp, around ringside, or getting into the ring, something a bit embarrassing will happen; Ivan will trip, or go to drink and spill all over himself, or get hooked on the ropes and fall into the ring. He always gets up with a smile and positive attitude, shadow boxing in the ring until his opponent's announcement begins.
Location/Place of Birth: New York
Fighting Style: At this time Ivan is learning as he goes. He has some strength so he has a mix of American old school with strikes (especially kicks) and a few high spots mixed in. While he isn't a great acrobat, he can do some good moves from the top, and he is a good mix of strong and fast. He just hasn't figured out how to put it all together yet. Ivan fancies himself a Bulldog master, thinking this is a viable 'style'.
Finishing Move (can use up to 3): Jobberdog: To opponent sitting on turnbuckle, Ivan climbs up behind them and bulldogs from the top.
Jobbersault: Top Rope Sunset Flip, especially after countering an opponent attempting to throw/suplex/whatever Ivan off top.
Signature Moves (up to 5):Standing Bulldog, Running Bulldog, 2nd rope Bulldog
Frequent Moves (up to 15):
Discus Punch
Round kicks (to side, back, gut, head, wherever)
Knee Lifts (as above)
Russian Sickle
Side Russian leg sweep
Russian Roll (amateur wrestling move)
Tiger Bomb
Running elbow smash
Forward dropkick (usually after whipping opponent into ropes, sometimes from top rope)
Top Rope Sunset Flip
Abdomenal Stretch, rolls back into pin.
Hurricanrana (especially to counter Powerbomb attempt on him)
High Cross Body from almost any position, even from top to ringside.
Swinging Neckbreaker
Reverse neckbreaker (Rude Awakening)
Valet/Manager's name (if applicable): Trainer Joe Broni gives Ivan sage wisdom (such as it is) but does not accompany Ivan to ringside unless to counter opponent's manager/valet.
Their Pic Base: Mickey Rooney (older)
Their brief bio: Joe Broni has been training wrestlers in the New York area for almost 30 years. He is mostly known for having more of his students in opening matches, battle royals (being eliminated early), or as lumberjacks. Most of his students quit wrestling within a year of their debut and are never heard from again.
